The Florence Melton Grand Israel Seminar:

This trip is a once in a lifetime experience that will combine fun and education. It is a unique opportunity for grandparents and grandchildren of Bar/Bat Mitzvah age to explore their Jewish identities together at a seminal time in their lives. This unique 8-night / 9-day seminar is open to Grandparents and their Grandchildren who are celebrating their Bar/ Batmitzvah in 2009 or 2010. It will be led by Jonty Blackman and promises to:

• Set the scene for an emotionally inspiring bar/ batmitzvah experience;
•  Encourage grandparent-grandchildren bonding;
• Develop spiritual moments that will strengthen the participants' Jewish identity;
• Create an exciting and fun Jewish-Israel experience;
• Build a connection with Israel.

Prices:
$2595 per person (double occupancy)
$1995 per youth (as third person in room)
$3295 – single occupancy (any age)

Price includes: accommodations (double), two meals per day, land arrangements, security, and all educational aspects of the program. Price does not include: airfare, airport transfers and tips for the bus driver.

Accommodations:            
Jerusalem : Dan Panorama (5 star) – 6 nights
North: kibbutz guest house to be determined – 1 night
Tel Aviv: to be determined – 1 night
